Mr. Wood is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and member of the Downey Board of Realtors. He has served as chairman of the Legislative Affairs Committee, and he is President of the Los Angeles County Board of Realestate, a legislative advocacy group representing real estate professionals and their clients in private property issues before the County Board of Supervisors. With over 20 years of property management experience, he achieved the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1983, and is active in the Los Angeles Chapter of IREM, where he has served as Vice President. He is also an instructor for the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Apartment Association, training Resident Managers in their preparation for the Accredited Residential Manager and Certified Apartment Manager designations. In addition, Mr. Wood serves on the board of Apartment Association of California Southern Cities. He was previously employed by a large property management firm in Southern California for approximately nin years, where he was Vice President in Charge of Management and Corporate Broker. In that position, he had oversight of several thousand apartment units, as well as commercial, office and storage facilities. Formerly an educator, Mr. Wood holds a Masters Degree from Biola University. A list of satisfied clients is available upon request. |
